It is possible for a dog to develop intestinal cancer.

Aside from visiting a vet for more specific counsel, it is important to treat your dog’s health with a broad appreciation for canine health.  Plenty of fresh water, a variety of canine dietary treats, regular physical activity, emotional security and support, and all of the other regular ‘dog stuff’ is important to keep up.  If a dog is going to be fighting cancer, its important that they don’t have to fight for too much else.

At least once a day, it is important to look in the eyes of a dog that has intestinal cancer, to give him or her a scratch behind the ears, and to sincerely tell them how much you like to have them around.  Even tell them how much you like the fact that they sometimes bark when they’re not supposed to, chase away songbirds, or get into places they’re not supposed to find.

That may be the most important thing you can do for your dog.
